Here we offer an 14ct GOLD FOBWATCH, which has a L’epine Calibre Movement and dates to around 1875 -1880 circa.
It has an 8 Jewel Cylinder Movement which is running very well and keeping good time. It is Key Wound and Key Set and was fully overhauled in March of this year.
It is housed in an 14ct GOLD Case, which is Stamped k14 – WARRANTED in a Cartouche and has the Swiss Squirrel Assay Mark for 14K Gold. It is 37mm in diameter (50mm incl. the ring) and bears Serial Number 18249. The Cuvette is made of metal and the pinning is loose – (25.4mm =1 inch)
The Gold Metal Dial is in Good Condition (these tend to be made from solid silver and then coated) and exhibits very few marks. It has Black Roman numerals and Blued Steel Hands, the minute in the Breguet Style. It has beautiful 3 dimensional engine turning in the centre and it has a Glass Crystal. It is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics – (Ref : L636.4)
