Here we offer a solid 18ct GOLD, English Fusee Lever Pocket Watch, which is in very good condition and has a Chester Hallmark for 1825c. It is signed Richard Hornby, Liverpool and is an early Table Roller Lever, which is working well and keeping time. It has a diamond end-stone and steel balance and is Key Wound on the back and and Key Set on the Dial.
It is housed in an 18ct GOLD Case, which is Stamped with the Makers Mark (only partially visible) and bears the Crown 18ct Gold Mark. It is 48mm in diameter (65mm incl. Solid Gold Pendant ring) and 10mm deep – (25.4mm =1 inch) and weighs 96.3 grams.
The 42mm Solid Gold Dial is profusely decorated in the outer chapter ring with individual characters in 4 colour gold, intricately spaced around the circumference. It has raised solid gold Roman Numerals; the chapter ring is decorated in Gold Filigree, whilst the centre is decorated with wavy line Guilloche. It has a raised Glass Crystal, Gold Breguet Hands and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics – (Ref : ACC 436. This extremely rare and very collectible watch is in Museum quality condition and is priced at €2.250, open to nearest offer.
