Here we offer a 9ct GOLD FOBWATCH, which has a Swiss Bar Movement and dates to 1909c.
The movement is an 8 Jewel Cylinder, which is running very well and keeping good time. It is Stem Wound and Pin Set.
It is housed in a 9ct GOLD Case, which is Stamped 9.375 with a Glasgow Hallmark for 1909. It is 30mm in diameter (45mm incl. the ring) and bears Serial Number 544619. It is also stamped A.G.R., which is the responsibility mark of Arthur George Rendell. (see Pritchard). The Cuvette is also stamped 9 ct Gold – (25.4mm =1 inch). This size Fob watch is ideal for hanging from a neck chain.
The Gold Metal Dial is in Good Condition (these tend to be made from solid silver and then coated) and exhibits very few marks. It has Black Roman numerals and thin Blued Steel Hands. It has beautiful floral decoration in the centre and has a Glass Crystal. It is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics – (Ref : L636.11)
