General Description:

This is an excellent American RAILROAD WATCH by BALL WATCH Co. of CLEVELAND, OHIO. It has a 16 Size, BALL WALTHAM Calibre  Movement, which has 21 Jewels with 5 Adjustments and Sapphire Pallets. It has the OFFICIAL RAILROAD STANDARD Trade Mark inscribed on the Dial & Plate; is Stem wound, Lever set and bears B245031, which dates to 1914c. It is keeping almost perfect time over 24 hours and has a 36hr. mainspring.

The 43mm Enamel Dial has Arabic Numerals and is signed as shown. It is in very good condition (1 small hairline from top of 4 to edge); has a set of blue steel  hands and an Acrylic crystal.

The Ball  Waltham 16sz Movement has Nickle Plates and bears s/n B245031, which dates to 1914c manufacture. It is in superb condition & profusely signed in Gold lettering, as shown in the pics. It has a Lossier Inner Terminal Hairspring, a precision regulator and is Stem Wound and Lever Set.

The 52mm Diameter (70mm. incl ring : 25.4mm = 1 inch) Gold Filled Case is signed CWC Co. Warranted Cresent 25yr., as shown in the pics. It is in good condition, with slight wear on the 3 o’clock rim and bears sn 930343. There is a case patent date on the rim.
