Additional Notes on this watch:
This watch is part of a major Irish Watch Collection, which I am selling on behalf of the family of a deceased collector friend of mine. He purchased this Bulova in 1998 and it has been sitting in his collection since. There are no notes about its previous history, but it looks very genuine and is in great condition. The crystal looks original and has a number of small scrapes in various locations, so was not newly fitted recently. As with all watches though, the crystal may be changed over time. It conforms with the details given in the link which I insert below.
The movement is a genuine model 214 and the markings on the case back have original Bulova stampings and serial number identity. This is also one of the rarer white gold filled cases.. The strap shows some wear to the lettering and does not have a Bulova buckle. I don’t know whether all Bulova’s were fitted with straps when new. This one was made in Canada and many Bulova straps on the market show Canadian markings.
