This is a very nice 9ct. Yellow Gold, Art-Deco Pocket Watch from Goldsmiths & Silversmiths, of Regent St., London, which dates to 1952c. The Movement is a Vertex Cal 65; has 15 Jewels and is running very well and keeping good time. It is presented in its Original Display Case, which is in good condition, but exhibits loss of colour around the edges.
The Dial is 41mm in Diameter and is in beautiful 2 tone Silver Colours ; is in excellent condition with very few minor imperfections and has a Glass Crystal.
The Movement is in excellent cosmetic condition and is Signed as shown in the pics.
The Case is 46mm in Diameter and is signed D.S.&S., bears sn 487 and is stamped 9.375, with London Assay Marks for 1952c. It has a dedication on the back to an employee of Imperial Chemical Industries.
The Bezel and Back both snap very tightly shut – It is priced at €325 open to offers – Ref: L777
This is a very nice English Pocket Watch to add to your collection and is being sold as described and as presented in the pictures. It comes from a local collection and has not been on the market in more than 20 years.
