General Description:
This is a very nice Swiss, Min Repeating Pocket Watch, dating to around 1910c, which is in excellent working order – striking all the quarters and minutes and keeping reasonably good time.
The 50mm diameter (70mm incl ring) Case is in good condition and exhibits no obvious dings. It is stamped BBL (Probably Breguet Breting) and bears sn 74087
The 43mm diameter White Enamel Dial has Arabic Numerals and is in very good condition, with no apparent hairlines, as shown in the pics. It has a Glass Crystal, a Subs Dial at 6.00, and Gold Spade Hands.
High Quality nickle Movement is in very good working order and keeping good time. It is in excellent cosmetic condition and was recently serviced by my Watchmaker. The movement is signed HAHN LANDERON on the dial plate. This Company specialised in the production of complications and supplied their movements to Le Coultre and E. Mattey-Tissot among others.
This is a very Collectible Watch and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics. It is priced at €1,300.
Our ref is ACC 328 and this watch comes to you directly from a large Irish Watch Collection, which was assembled over the past 40-50 years.
Charles Hahn Landeron & Cie, was formed in 1875 and was initially known as Hahn Freres & Cie. The ebauches part of the Company became Landeron and in 1925 was one of 26 ebauche companies, who came together to form EBAUCHES SA. LANDERON later merged with Fontainemelon ( see PRITCHARD’S – Swiss Timepiece Makers :1775 -1975)
