General Description:
This is a 1950s, Triple Calendar Wristwatch, which has some unusual features, all of which work very well. The crown at 22.00 rotates the month when in the home position and when pulled out rotates the date bezel. This makes it very easy to set the date and month. The red index moves to the next day at 12 midnight every 24 hours. All the days of the month are located around the inner dial, so you know which week in the month is current.
The 17 Jewel Movement is in very good condition and keeping almost perfect time. The back is very tight and I have not opened it, so as to avoid any damage. I have included a picture of the movement from an identical watch from the Eloga Brand for your information. This is an FHF (Fontainemelon) calibre.
The Patented Metal Dial is 31mm in diameter and in very good original condition. It is superbly indexed and signed as shown in the pics.
The Stainless Steel case has a bezel in a contrasting plated colour. It measures 35mm in diameter (including crown) and 42mm to the lugs. It is in superb condition, with just the usual wear marks. It is signed as shown and bears SN 11258 196300. It is fitted with an 18mm black leather strap by Hirsch, which measures 230mm overall. – (Ref. ACC420)
This is a very Collectible Wristwatch with many complications to add to your Collection and comes to you directly from a large Irish Watch Collection, which was assembled over the past 40-50 years. It is Priced at €1,395 open to offers.
