General Description:

This is an  Illinois Bunn Special 60Hour Railroad PW, Model 14, 21J, Adjusted Temp & 6 Positions,16sz Movement. It is housed in a Bunn Special Model – Wadsworth Quality – Gold Filled Case.  It is in very good cosmetic condition and working order and is very accurate over 24 hours.

The 42mm Montgomery Dial has Arabic Numerals and is signed Illinois and is in superb condition (has 1 small hairline from double dial ring to the 8 min marker). It has a set of blue steel hands.

The Model 14 Movement has Nickle Plates and bears s/n 4754990, which dates to 1925c manufacture. It is signed Illinois Watch Co. Springfield, 60Hr. 21J Bunn Special – Motor Barrell – Adj Temp & 6 Pos. & Double Roller. It has a Breguet hairspring, a precision regulator and is Stem Wound and Lever Set. It is signed 60 Hour on the Train Bridge and Motor Barrell 60 on the Barrell Bridge, making this one of the rarer type 11 signature styles.

The 50mm Diameter (63mm. incl ring : 25.4mm = 1 inch) Gold Filled Case is signed : ” Bunn Special Model ” – Wadsworth Quality -10Kt G.F, as shown in the pics. It is in very good condition, with no apparent faults, apart from normal use marks and bears sn 7283026.
