General Description:
This is a Silver Pocket Watch of 50mm Diameter, which has a Fusee Lever Movement with a Table Roller (has Ruby impulse pin) by Jos’p Penlington of Liverpool. It dates to 1834c; is in very good cosmetic condition and running order and is keeping good time.
The Case is in very good condition, with no obvious dings, but the engine turning on the back cover is worn. It measures 50mm in diameter, 70mm (incl the pendant ring) and is 15mm deep. It is stamped with the Lion Passant Silver Standard Mark, a Chester Hallmark and year date for 1834c on all covers. It bears the Maker’s Marks TE HF on all covers.
The 44mm Cream Enamel Dial has Roman Numerals and is in very good condition, with no apparent flaws, as shown. It has a Flush Subs Dial at 6.00, a Glass Crystal and Gold Breguet Hands.
The 15J Gilt, Full Plate Movement is in very good condition as shown in the pics. It is an early table roller lever, with a ruby impulse pin. It has Liverpool Windows Jewelling (Screwed into Chatons) and a Diamond end-stone. It is signed Jos’h Penlington, Liverpool, bears sn 3631 and is key wound on the back and key set on the dial.
This is a desirable watch by a very Collectible and Respected Liverpool Maker of the period and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics. It is priced at €350 or nearest Offer
