This is a very nice K.M. 720 Manual Wind Wristwatch, which dates to WW11 and was issued to Officers of the KRIEGSMARINE (GERMAN NAVY). It is running very well, is accurate to within 1 min or so per day and has a 36 hour power reserve.
It has the very reliable 15Jewel, Festa 720 Movement, which is in excellent cosmetic condition and running order.
The 34mm (incl crown), Nickle Coated Case is in good condition (shows some colour loss) and bears serial number 154933 on the back, which is made of Stainless Steel. It measures 38mm to the lugs and is fitted with an 18mm “Darlena” Brown Leather Strap, which has overall dimensions of 230mm.
The 28mm Metal Dial, is in very good original condition (exhibits some slight spotting) and has Arabic Numerals with Luminous Hands and Hour Markers. It has an Acrylic Crystal, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6pm and is signed K.M. 720.
This rare K.M. 720 will be of interest to the discerning Military Watch Collector, comes from a collection which I purchased recently and has not been on the market in many, many years. (Ref: L664.1).
