GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
This is a superb Omega manual wind wristwatch, which dates to 1949/50c, is running very well and keeping good time. It has a 46 hr spring
It has the very reliable Calibre 265 movement ( a development of the renowned 30T2), which has 15 Jewels, is in excellent cosmetic condition and running order and bears serial number 12084864, which dates to 1949/50c production.
The 39mm (incl crown) Stainless Steel Case is fully signed Omega. It is in very good condition and is fitted with an 18mm black leather strap, which measures 225mm overall.
The 34mm BLACK Coloured Dial, has Arabic & Baton raised gold Numerals, is signed Omega with logo and has a large, silver coloured sub seconds dial at 6pm. Note the Gold Star below the name, which is extremely rare on this model. It has an Acrylic crystal, a nice set of original gold hands and is in very good condition (There are very slight marks and some spotting due to ageing)
This large & desirable Omega will be of interest to the discerning Watch Collector, comes from a long term collection which I purchased recently and has not been on the market in many, many years. (Ref: L772).
