This is an excellent IRISH SOLID SILVER, Gents Swiss PIVOTED DETENT CHRONOMETER Pocket Watch, with a White Enamel Dial, Signed W ANDREWS & Co, LONDONDERRY. The Hunter Case is stamped with the Swiss Bear Standard Mark for 0.935 Silver, bears serial number 50198 (the last 5 digits of the movement #) and is signed by the Swiss Case Maker Cce Fres. It has a Fully Jewelled Chronometer Movement, with Helical Hairspring, sn 250198 and signed as in the pics. It is Stem wound and Lever set, but can also be Key set on the back. The movement is in excellent cosmetic condition, but not presently in running order. It needs a new 9ct Gold passing spring, the balance staff pivot is bent/damaged, so needs a new staff. The Helical hairspring is twisted & needs correction.Some Escape Wheel teeth are damaged, a new arbour is reqd on the small platform and the locking stone is damaged – Ref : GH 056-25
