This is an excellent Patented Rack Lever, POCKET WATCH, by ROBERT ROSKELL of Liverpool and comes in Silver Pair Cases. The inner measures 50mm in diameter and bears a London Hallmark which dates prior to 1821c and the outer is 57mm, which bears Birmingham Hallmarks for 1836c.
It has a nice 47mm Enamel Dial with Roman Numerals and Gold Hands. There are 3 hairlines running from the centre to the edge, as shown in pics. It has a 15 secs Subs-Dial , meaning that the seconds hand rotates 4 times every minute.
The movement is an English Full Plate Fusee with Litherland’s Rack Lever movement, signed Patent on the early Liverpool style cock, bears s/n 7854 and is Key Wound on the back and Key Set on the dial. It has a very large Solid Steel Balance Wheel, a Boseley Regulator and a large Diamond End-stone. The movement is in beautiful cosmetic condition and running order and keeping very good time over 24 hours.
