General Description:
This is a Swiss Quarter Repeating Chronograph in a Salesman’s Nickle Case with see thru back, which dates to the 1880’s circa. It is in very good cosmetic condition; is running very well as a timepiece and keeping good time. The 1 button Chronograph starts, stops and returns to 0, using the single gold push button in the rim at the 9 position. The repeat mechanism needs attention.
The Case is in good condition, with no obvious dings and measures 48mm in diameter.
The White Enamel Dial has Roman Numerals and is in good condition, with some hairlines, as shown. It has a Subs Dial at 6.00, a Glass Crystal and Blue Spade Hands.
The Gilt, Full Plate Movement is in very good cosmetic condition, as shown in the pics. My Watchmaker removed the dial to check why the movement had locked. He was able to restore the movement to running condition as a time-piece. He discovered there is a part missing from the Repeat Mechanism and isolated this by applying a temporary fix.
This is a Collectible Watch and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics. It is priced at €650 or nearest Offer
