Here we offer a 10ct GOLD, WALTHAM ROYAL sz. 6 Pocketwatch which has a 3/4 Plate Movement and dates to 1887 circa.
It has a 7 Jewel Model 1873 Lever Movement which is running very well and keeping good time. It is Stem Wound and Lever Set at the 1.00 o’clock position. It bears serial number 3045920, which dates to 1887c.
It is housed in a 10ct GOLD Case, which is Stamped A.B (Alfred Bedford – The UK Waltham Agent) and has a 10C Stamp. It is 39mm in diameter (56mm incl. the ring) and bears Serial Number 803 – (25.4mm =1 inch). The cuvette is also made from 10c gold and is not pinned to the case hinge, but closes very tightly.
The White Enamel Dial is in very Good Condition, with just very light hairlines between 1 & 2 and at 5. It has Black Roman numerals, an elegant pair of slim Blued Steel Hands and a Glass Crystal. It is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics – (Ref : L568)
