Here we offer a SILVER WW1 Pocket Watch, in a rare Swing-Out Open Face, which is signed on the Dial, Case and Movement by Zenith and which has a Glasgow Import Marks for 1918c. It has a Black Dial with Radium Hands and Hour Markers and was probably designed for Military Use.
It has a ZENITH 18Lignes size, 15 Jewel Lever Movement, which is 40mm in Diameter and is Stem Wound & Set at 12.00. It has a precision cam regulator and is in excellent working condition and keeping good time. It is signed Zenith and bears Serial Number 2244248, which approximates to 1918 production.
It is housed in a Silver Case, which is Stamped ZWCo. in a triangle and 0.925, with a Glasgow Import Mark and Year Date for 1918c. It bears SN 3090554 and has a screw down Bezel and Glass Crystal (some chips and scratches). The rim exhibits slight pitting (greatly exaggerated in the 9″x10″ Zoom pics) , but is in very good overall condition, with only one light ding on the back. It measures 49mm in diameter and 68mm, including the ring. (25.4mm =1 inch)
The Black Enamel Dial is in Good Condition and has no apparent hairlines within the bezel area, but has a repaired chip under the bezel at 10.15. It is Signed Zenith above the Subs Dial – (REF:L 631.5) . It is priced at €295 !
